Sacred Valley Full Day

Our Sacred Valley day trip is truly breathtaking. You will enjoy the beautiful Valley of the Incas and snow-capped mountains, farmland, and villages full of color and tradition. If you are in Cusco don’t miss out on the Sacred Valley, it is located slightly lower than Cusco and can help you with acclimatization.

We put at your disposal a Tourist Bus to make your trip comfortable and in just one day, this tour will allow you to see and visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas, starting with the textile centers of Chincheros, the salt mines of Maras, the agricultural terraces of Moray , the agricultural military fortress of Ollantaytambo, and Urubamba where you will enjoy the delicious typical dishes of the area, and visit the ruins of Pisac and its textile market. You will enjoy the beautiful natural landscapes and villages full of culture and tradition.

Itinerary:

• 7:00 a.m.: Pick up at your hotel in Cusco and transfer by private bus to Chinchero.
• 9:00 a.m.: Visit to the village of Chinchero and workshop on alpaca wool weaving.
• 10:30 a.m.: Departure towards the Maras Salt Mines.
• 11:30 a.m.: Visit to the Maras Salt Mines and brief walk.
• 12:30 p.m.: Visit to the experimental center of Moray.
• 1:30 p.m.: Buffet lunch at a local restaurant in Urubamba.
• 2:00 p.m.: Departure towards Ollantaytambo.
• 2:30 p.m.: Visit to the Archaeological Center of Ollantaytambo.
• 4:30 p.m.: Visit to the Archaeological Center of Pisac.
• 5:00 p.m.: Visit to the Pisac Market.
• 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: Arrival in Cusco.

Season to Visit:

The best time to visit Chinchero, Maras, Moray, Ollantaytambo and Pisac is from May to October, during the dry season, because during the rainy season access can be difficult. 

What to bring:

• Wear comfortable and warm clothing: although the sun may warm during the day, at high altitude temperatures can drop drastically at night.
• Shoes for walking on uneven terrain: it is important to have good footwear that allows you to walk on rocky and slippery terrain.
• Sun block
• Hat, sunglasses
• A small backpack to carry your belongings

Difficulty – Easy:

Be in good physical shape: although the level of difficulty is moderate, it is important to be in good shape to be able to enjoy the experience to the fullest.
